Wines from an Iconic Region
Franschhoek, located in the Western Cape Province of South Africa, is a quaint town in the Cape Winelands district and is part of Stellenbosch. Its name, ‘the French Corner,’ is a testament to the valley’s heritage, as it was settled by 200 Huguenots, including several winemakers who quickly recognised the area’s potential for wine production. Today, the Franschhoek wine valley has become one of the most prominent wine regions in South Africa.”
